In an industry where the actual wattage output varies so greatly, Wagan Tech® is proud to introduce True-rated Power technology. This new terminology not only helps consumers understand what wattage of inverter is needed, but it also gives them peace of mind when choosing an inverter for their power needs. All Wagan Tech® inverters feature True-rated Power. That simply means power tested and rated at a period of 24 hours continuous usage under full load. The competition claims continuous, when in fact, they are often only 30 minutes continuous. Afterwards, the competition's output wattage will drop down as much as 30% of the claimed wattage.

We build our inverters with High Peak Surges that allows up to 3x the continuous rating to support high surging appliances. Other competitors only provide 2x of continuous rating, which is often not enough to start power tools and microwaves. Wagan Tech uses top quality components and MOSFETs the key factor in reliable inverter manufacturing.
